What have we been doing?

With only four more months to go on this mission, I'm getting anxious to make the most of the rest of our time. I feel like I haven't written much about our mission, only our P-days! I guess I've been kind of hung up on anonymity of the people we work with. I want to tell about them and I won't mention names.

We love our ward here, the Havre Ward, Havre, MT. Our Bishop is wonderful and I'm sure he won't mind me mentioning his name. Bishop Acor is a podiatrist. There are several health professionals in our ward. Dave Crossley is a PA and is our Ward Mission Leader and he is great. He was just reactivated about a year ago, just before we got here, after 25 years of inactivity and after serving a mission. He is so strong in the Gospel and such an inspiration. He has been so fired up about missionary work and almost never misses a weekly meeting with the four of us and works closely with the Elders or Sisters that are here.

We visit the less-actives and have met probably 100 of them, maybe more. I haven't counted. It's a little frustrating because we haven't gotten very many to come back to Church, but we're still trying and have made some really good friends.

One man that we were successful in getting back to Church had lived here in Havre for a couple of years and no one knew him or even where he lived. We ferreted him out and after a couple of "put offs" we were successful in meeting with him. Then a month or so later he called us and told us he wanted to come to church but didn't have transportation. We picked him up and that was the start of it all. He didn't have a job, no car, not many friends and now he's active, has a car, a job and just received the Melchizedek Priesthood about two weeks ago at Stake Conference! I've never seen a happier person! There is no better feeling than to see the changes in a person that embraces the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!

Our last night in CA

And the party continues...
Does it ever stop?
(Really though. It continued after we left.
They had another birthday party for Ivy's Owen a couple days later.)
We went to Leah's before we headed back to Montana and had one last hurrah for Cammy's birthday which was the 26th and had sort of gotten put on the back burner with The Wedding.
Leah made pizza! It was so good.
And she even made this diet friendly Cauliflower Crust pizza (below) that was to die for.
I'm sure she got it off of pinterest and I think she instagrammed it. So check it out!

Like the new vocabulary?

ah...those phones!

Tysen loved the pool.

Happy Birthday, Cammy.

Our trip to CA was so fun. We loved seeing everyone. But we are also so happy to be back in Havre. We love it here. We love our mission and all the people we have met
(and have yet to meet) in Montana.
We are so blessed to have such a beautiful family. We thank Heavenly Father for it every day.

Ethan and Sofie-off to Utah

And they are off to Utah to begin their new lives TOGETHER!

We love these two.

Sniff...

The Wedding Reception-more snapshots

The Wedding Reception
These are snapshots taken with a couple cameras floating around.
Again, the better pictures were trusted to be taken by the photographer. :)

We held the reception in our back yard.
Sofie and her family transformed the back yard into something beautiful.
She was amazing!

Cady made these beautiful origami chains.

It was wonderful to see so many or our friends and family.
Thank you so much for all your love and support.

PIE! The kids seem to be enjoying it. Everyone did.
Thank you to so many family and friends who made and donated PIES!
(We had pie for breakfast the next morning...)

Tysen-the sweetest baby ever.

Fun was had by all.
